We didn't see any racing today as Claire wanted to go to the Lexicorn bookshop in Douglas to get her copy of David Jeffries autobiography signed by his dad Tony Jeffries.
While we were in the queue waiting we noticed that James Toseland would be signing his book in just over an hour, so we just had to wait for that! We went off for some lunch and came back in time for James Toseland to arrive and once both books were signed we set off to Ramsey for the Ramsey Sprint and the Red Arrows.
The weather once again was perfect and there were lots of people at the Ramsey Sprint, quite surprising considering that the racing was on as well.
There are some pictures of the Red Arrows over Ramsey bay in our galleries.
The Relentless Supersport race had the following results:

We listened to the Royal London Superstock race from the car and at home, we were on the edge of our seats listening to Guy Martin being ahead by just a fraction of a second for several laps then on the last lap Ian Hutchinson edged ahead and left the race with the following results:
- 1st Ian Hutchinson
- 2nd Guy Martin
- 3rd Keith Amor

The 2009 TT is underway, all practice sessions have been held, with some amazing riding which saw John McGuinness and Bruce Anstey hit the 130mph mark and Cameron Donald hit 131mph, all in practice week so we should be in for a treat race week.
Photo's from these practice sessions can be found in the galleries. Today's Superbike race was cancelled due to bad weather, but looking forward to a good week of racing.
We will update our site throughout the week, when time allows including photo's of some races and also entertainment throughout TT.

We have just returned from our first ever visit to the NW200 in Northern Ireland,
unfortunatley the weather was against us for the whole trip, so from a
photograpy point of view it wasn't the best, but we did enjoy what we did get to see and do.
We will be going back and do all the trips we wanted to do and couldn't.
Any tips on where to go to get the best view in order to photograph the racing will be thankfully received.

Yesterday we went to the Cregneash ploughing match, It was a bit of an adventure, I saw the article in the news by chance and thought we might get some good photograps,
which we did. After speaking to some people we got directions to where the event was being held, initially we felt a bit out of place as we were there
too early but another photographer we knew turned up which was great since not only did it put us at ease for just being there but we got Hint's and Tips.
Although we had to leave just after lunch the day was really good and they had cooked lunch available which was being paid for by
donations for their daughter's Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
Some of the horses were done up really well. If you can find the matches it's well worth a visit.

The Isle Of Man Photographic Society's Annual Competition For 2009 is now over,
Judged by Bob Dennis APAGB CPAGB BPE**, the standard was excellent and a not to mention a bit daunting but it pushes us to improve.
We did well in the prints and gained a few placing's and Mark won the Natural History section, that same print also won the Spiers Trophy for the best Natural History
in the whole competition which is amazing, and at the time quite a shock!
We didn't do as well as we'd hoped with the digital section's but out of the hundreds of entries (over 350 prints alone ) we feel lucky to get what we did. Next week we will get to see all of the images in what is expected to be a long night.
Saturday we attended the Bebington Salon, which was presented by Bob Dennis and Gordon Reid, which is a selection of photograph's from a national competition which next year we fully intend to enter.
